Dear Friend:
If you want to color=#000000>quickly learn how to speak the real Spanish ?I뭢
talking about the Spanish that native Latin Americans speak (not the useless
junk taught in textbooks, classrooms and other Spanish courses) And if you want
to master it without spending your last dime
?this might be the most important letter that you뭠l ever read.
Here뭩 why?
We have unleashed the only
learning-Spanish course that actually teaches you how to speak the real
Spanish.
There are a bunch of learning-Spanish products on the market.
But the other courses don뭪 teach you how to speak the real Spanish.
How do I know? No, I am not a Latin American or native
speaker of Spanish. I learned the hard way. Through experience - but mainly
through EMBARRASSMENT, HUMILIATION, and FRUSTRATION. Let me tell you my story. .
.
color=#000000>I
have spent thousands?NOT hundreds ?but
thousands of dollars on the so-called 뱓op?learning-Spanish courses. Not only
have I bought and studied every last one of them ?lt;STRONG> I have devoured
them.
And I have tried 뱒peaking?the
Spanish that I learned from the 뱓op?courses with native
Spanish-speakers. I tried it everywhere. From the streets of
Spanish Harlem and Washington Heights, New York . . . To my vacations throughout
most of Central and South America, and Spanish-speaking Caribbean islands.
Many times, color=#000000>Latin Americans and Latinos couldn뭪 understand a word that I was
trying to say to them. What I thought was Spanish apparently did
not sound anything like Spanish to them.
When I was lucky enough for them to understand me, my Spanish
was so bad that they insisted on speaking back to me in English ?even
the ones that couldn뭪 speak English!
And at other times . . . unless my imagination was playing
tricks on me, I detected a slight smirk on their faces when they heard me trying
to speak Spanish. It was as if they were desperately trying to hold in a burst
of laughter.
Then ?what I dreaded most finally happened.
I will never forget the night. It was a little more than a
year ago. I was standing on line by myself at a movie theatre waiting to buy my
ticket. . Standing next to me was the most beautiful Latina woman that I had
ever seen. From the conversation that she was having with her female friend, I
could tell that they were both native Latin Americans.
I decided that this was the perfect opportunity to meet the
woman of my dreams. I figured I뭗 charm her with my Spanish. That would really
impress her.
I am not sure which of the following two lines did it. Maybe
it happened when I said: Yo hablo Castellano (I speak Spanish)
Or maybe it happened when I said: Me gustan las
rosettas de maiz (I like popcorn).
By the way, both of the above lines I learned from some of
the 뱓op?learning-Spanish courses.
It was right after I said one of those two lines. That뭩 when
it happened. Both women broke out in uncontrollable laughter. They were absolutely hysterical. I
thought an ambulance was going to have to come and take them away if they didn뭪
stop laughing.
And I thought that someone was going to have to call a hearse
for me ?Because I was going to die from EMBARASSMENT.
Through all their laughter, I was unable to understand what
they were saying to each other in Spanish. But I did somehow recognize one word
that they kept saying repeatedly to each other. That word was GRINGO.
Are you familiar with the word GRINGO? Dictionary.com defines
GRINGO as an 뱋ffensive term used in Latin America to describe an
American or English person that attempts to speak Spanish?lt;/STRONG>
I cannot remember a time in my entire life when I was more
HUMILIATED and EMBARRASSED. It뭩 been well over a year. And to this day, I
have not stepped foot back in that same movie theatre.
That same evening, I called a friend that뭩 a native speaker
of Spanish and told him what had happened to me. After having to endure his
cruel laughter for several minutes, he finally explained to me that the Spanish
that I was 뱓rying?to speak was so out-dated and so formal that it was
ridiculous. And he must have meant the 뱑idiculous?part literally.
He also said that Latin Americans and Latinos don뭪 talk that
way. As he explained, maybe in some remote part of Spain there is an elite group
of people that still uses that form of Spanish . . .
But there definitely isn뭪 anyone on this side of the
Atlantic that would say 밐ablo Castellano?to mean 밒 speak Spanish.?And no
Latin American would call popcorn rosettas de maiz ?unless of course
they were looking to make someone laugh hysterically.
Strange enough, color=#000000>many of the so-called top Spanish courses claim that they have
been recorded by 뱊ative?Latin Americans.
My Latin American friend explained it to me another way too.
He said that when he first arrived in the U.S., a learning-English course taught
him to ask 밐ow do you do??in order to ask about someone뭩 health or when
meeting someone for the first time. But in his thirteen years of living in the
U.S. no one ever asked him 밐ow do you do??It was either 밐ow are you??or
밐ow you doing??
Who knows? Maybe somewhere in England people still ask 밐ow
do you do??But not in the U.S. where the majority of people that speak English
live.
That뭩 when it finally struck me!
I had spent the last five or six
years of my life learning formal How-Do-You-Do Spanish -- color=#000000>Spanish that was
absolutely useless for everyday, normal conversation. Spanish that
Latin Americans never use.
That evening was the turning point in my Spanish studies. I
made a commitment that evening that I was going to learn the real
Spanish. The Spanish that Latin Americans actually speak to each other.
That same evening I called several native Latin American
friends who are professional Spanish instructors. I practically begged, bribed,
and threatened them to put together a Spanish course with nothing but the real
Spanish. The Spanish that they speak to each other. Not the garbage that I had
spent years learning -- and had caused me so much embarrassment at the movie
theatre.
I demanded that they create a Spanish course with only the
vocabulary and grammar that they use when speaking to each other. A course that
consisted of nothing but real Latin American Spanish.
In exchange, I told them that I would share the most
effective self-study-foreign-language method -- a method that I personally
developed from years and years of studying Spanish on my own.
A year later . . . my Latin American friends are now ready to
spill their guts and offer you the one course that teaches you real
Latin American Spanish.
And I am ready to teach you my own personal method of
learning that will have you learning and speaking Spanish like crazy. The best
thing about my method of learning is that it teaches you how to naturally think
in Spanish -- as if Spanish was your native language.
